  1. I'd like to put in a request for Accordance to add the Module, "Greek for the Rest of Us: Essentials of Biblical Greek" (2nd Edition) by William D. Mounce. It is an excellent textbook for Greek beginners, especially those learning to use tools like Accordance to study the Greek text of the Scriptures. I present four reasons for this request: 1. This textbook is used in every "Greek Tools for Biblical Interpretation" class at Fuller Theological Seminary. This is a required text in a (for most students) required class. Moreover, Fuller ask all their students to acquire and use Accordance Bible Software, specifically, which is how I came to own this program. 2. Logos has this book available, why shouldn't Accordance? Especially considering that Bill Mounce uses Accordance as his primary Bible software! And the book specifically endorses Accordance! 3. There are many other Mounce resources readily available in Accordance, including more thorough grammars. Why shouldn't this Bible-software-focused, and extremely accessible, introductory textbook be included as an option for students and laypeople who want to use Accordance to go deeper into the biblical languages? I'd also like to request the companion textbook, "Hebrew for the Rest of Us: Using Hebrew Tools Without Mastering Biblical Hebrew" by Lee M. Fields. I already own Greek for the Rest of Us on Kindle, but I would buy it again if it were on Accordance, just for the added value of having it integrated into my bible software.
  2. In these days I am occupied with the Septuagint - and there the desire grew in me to have the "Septuagint German" (LXX-D) in Accordance: https://www.academic-bible.com/en/bible-society-and-biblical-studies/scholarly-editions/septuagint/septuaginta-deutsch/ https://www.die-bibel.de/shop/septuaginta-deutsch-5122 https://www.logos.com/product/166659/septuaginta-deutsch

    LXX-D again

Dear Accordance-Team, I would like to have a digital version of the Septuaginta Deutsch (I already asked here). Could you give me hope that it will be available in Accordance in the future? Otherwise I have to use Logos for it – which I would like to avoid. Thanks, Johannes

Text of the Book of Enoch?

Hello, does anyone know a digital version of 1Enoch in the internet in Greek and/or German that I can import as user bible in Accordance? (I know this module: https://www.accordancebible.com/store/details/?pid=PSEUD-TBut I invested some money in Accordance in the last days and I only need 1Enoch at the moment ;-) And another question: Is there a cross reference tool in Accordance that shows links between the New Testament and apocrypha/pseudepigrapha? E.g.: Jude 14–15 -> 1 Enoch 1:9 Thanks! Johannes
  5. I would like to have a module for Dr. Constable’s Expository (Bible Study) Notes. I just changed over from BibleWorks and also have been using e-Sword for my commentaries. Constable is available as a free user generated module in e-Sword. I was hoping to integrate commentaries and language study into a single Bible program. Constable is a conservative premillennialist, I think from DTS. His material is very helpful. I created a poll also. I also would accept any advice on how to create a module but it appears that there is a bias against users tampering with module creation in Accordance. Many Thanks! Craig
  6. Do you plan to release «Feasting on the Word Worship Companion» modules —Liturgies for Years A, B, C?
  7. Please add "A New Psalm: A Guide to Psalms as Literature" by Benjamin J. Segal. I have it in Kindle ebook format. For me it's one of the best small commentaries on Psalms. I wish I could have it as Accordance module.
  8. I am very frustrated with most English "translations" that now exist. I am searching for an "alternative" form of "translation", probably more correctly identified as an "interpretation". The current mode of "translation" is typically tied to one or two words to identify the meaning of Hebrew, in particular, but also of Greek words. With Hebrew this often leaves a great deal of "meaning" out of the "translation". I'm searching for a text that will provide a "concept-to-concept" presentation of what the term really meant - and I'd like to see that come as close as possible to what one such as Moses would have intended at the time he was writing it. Rather than using one or two words, I'd truly like to see the full concept that lies behind the original language - at least as nearly as may be possible at this point in time. Does anyone know of such a "translation"? I would truly appreciate finding one. Thank you for your kind assistance with this.
  9. Hello everyone, I just installed the Starter Edition of Version 10 on Windows. I bought the Mac Studienbibel a couple of years ago and I thought I could use the old modules in the new version. This is true for most modules, but somehow the apparatus of the Greek NT got lost. I remember having had the apparatus for both the Hebrew OT and the Greek NT on the Studienbibel, but now only the BHS Apparatus shows up... Now I wonder if the NT apparatus isn't available for the Version 10 any more (after the Nestle Aland went to Edition 28 and I have 27). Thank you De Benny
  10. Hi all, I'm trying to load the Net notes module but when I try to do so, a dialog opens up and the various modules (including the Net notes) are disabled. I used to be able to use it prior to upgrading to Accordance 10 (it's been a while since). I can open the GNT notes ok. See attached screenshot for clarification. Many thanks in advance, Adrian

    Upgrade to ESVS 3.2 fails

Hi, I clicked on 'Check for Content Updates' recently and noticed an upgrade from ESVS 3.1 to 3.2. However, when I try to upgrade I get the error message 'The file "ESVS" is no longer available to Accordance.' (See attached). When I restart Accordance, ESVS is still available, though still at version 3.1 I'm running 10.1.4 from the App Store.

    Romanian Bible module

Hello there everyone! I am coming back with a request made some time ago, regarding a Romanian Bible module for Accordance. I am a pastor of a Protestant church and I am not the only user of Accordance (there are other users also). Because our church has a contract with Apple, each pastor has a Mac. But the strange thing is that they use a Windows based Bible software (via Parallels) because Accordance cannot be promoted without a Romanian Bible. This autum I will also receive a Mac. Until then, I have an iPad, and am content with it. Do you think it is possible to have a Romanian module (here is another discussion started, with information about copyright: http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7135&hl=%2Bromanian+%2Bmodule&fromsearch=1)? I do think that it is time for Romania to get out from a sort of a dark corner and have acces to the best Bible software in her own language. Thank you for your understanding and I hope that very soon one will be available! If, in the process, I can help with something, I will do it with all pleasure and effort! May God bless you! Adrian.
