    Evernote anyone?

I could have just as easily posted this under the general "Windows Wisdom" forum since Evernote is available on just about every platform available. Today while I was driving, I enjoyed listening to Leo Laporte interview Phil Liben, CEO of Evernote on the newest Triangulation podcast. I appreciated hearing Libin describe his very practical business sense and thoughts on the future of software. I had never thought about the fact that the Evernote programmers do not try to make a carbon copy of the program on every platform, but rather attempt to use the specific conventions of the platform in the development of each of the different versions of Evernote. This reminded me of Accordance, which uses separate Mac and Windows conventions according to which version you use; and of course, the iOS version is unique in its own right to iOS standards. I find myself using Evernote in an increasing manner, and it's certainly a daily use program like Accordance. Here is the link for Triangulation. Look for episode 170 if you want to hear the interview with Phil Libin. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/triangulation-mp3/id415842414?mt=2
