  1. Hello Everyone, Wanted to know if there are any future plans to include the capability of selecting audio files as an option while inside User Notes? Have a great day! David

    GNT Audio Adjustments

I recently purchased the Greek New Testament Audio by John Schwandt and really enjoy it so far! The only thing is that it would be nice to be able to adjust the speed of the audio - even with basic speed adjustments.

    Audio on iOS

Hello, When I play an audio Bible, I have to have Accordance open all the time. But normally and in other apps, the audio continues to be played when the app is closed — very convenient during sports and driving. So here are my two cents for a future update: allow the audio to continue playing with the app closed. God bless, Manuel
  4. Hi Everyone, So I have the Hebrew Audio—OT, and I love listening to it on my iPhone. It is very entertaining, as well as helpful for memorizing passages. However, there is a significant problem with listening on iOS while on the go. If I were listening to music/Apple music/Pandora or even Netflix, I can put my phone in my pocket, and turn the screen off (which happens automatically after a certain amount of time) and the audio continues; I can listen while I walk. But with the Hebrew Audio, as soon as the screen locks after a couple of minutes, the audio cuts out, making it necessary to stop and unlock the phone every few minutes. It is thus practically impossible to listen to the Hebrew Bible unless one is stationary and constantly manipulating the screen. Can this be changed? This change would make listening to the Hebrew Audio modules much more practicable. As a student of Hebrew Bible, this is very important aid and tool for me. Thanks, David

    Hebrew audio OT verse module

For several books that I have tried (Lam, Dan, Esther), clicking the audio for the individual verses (Hebrew Audio OT verses module) does not initiate playing, but yields the system “error” sound. I seem to recall seeing this on the forums before, but cannot find it. Accordance for Mac 12.1.5 [Mac OS X 10.13.1 Mid 2013 11 inch MacBook Air]

    #158 Read to Me

Accordance has three original language audio resources available for purchase: a Hebrew OT, a Hebrew NT, and a Greek NT. These resources are available for Mac, PC, and iOS devices. In addition, Mac users can use their system voice to read any Accordance Text or Tool. This podcast covers all of these audio capabilities and more! https://www.accordancebible.com/Read-To-Me
  7. I am considering purchasing this. I wonder, how does it actually work. It would probably be useful for me if it would allow me to read out individual verses (i.e. shortcut key to read out the verse I am in, i.e. I could sit there and press (P)lay a few times to get the Hebrew in my head) and perhaps less importantly, but also useful, can it play a whole chapter at a time? Thanks!
  8. The BiblicalTraining.org module is a treasure trove of seminary-class teaching. Most of the lectures are audio only but are not easy to listen to on a mobile device due to limitations of the interface. First, closing the Accordance app, turning "off" the device, or letting the device screen time out and go to sleep all turn off the audio. As a result, I cannot listen while going for a walk, stream without interruption to a bluetooth speaker, or do anything else on my phone such as take notes while listening. Second, I cannot listen off-line. I would like to see the audio interface improved to allow playback while the app is in the background. I would also like some level of off-line listening. Even storing one or two lectures on the device would be a big improvement and help minimize data usage. BiblicalTraining.org has its own app which include both these features. It would be nice to see the Accordance app be equally compelling.
