    Basics of Hebrew Accents

This one should be fairly easy to get- Comes out in June of this year: https://www.amazon.com/Basics-Hebrew-Accents-Mark-Futato/dp/0310098424/ref=pd_sbs_14_1/137-5346584-7424942?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=0310098424&pd_rd_r=fdf30bee-bc65-43f9-bbce-d8f28d11a260&pd_rd_w=i1blw&pd_rd_wg=qwUWh&pf_rd_p=7cd8f929-4345-4bf2-a554-7d7588b3dd5f&pf_rd_r=R4H9KT8C5JD2PFN94EK5&psc=1&refRID=R4H9KT8C5JD2PFN94EK5
  2. While normally I would say to Accordance "Develop more original texts and don't focus on books per say," I came across this book from Sung Jin Park at Midwestern Baptist theological Seminary. Published by Cambridge University Press. Comes out this year in August I believe. Might be interesting to have. https://www.academia.edu/39837618/The_Fundamentals_of_Hebrew_Accents_Divisions_and_Exegetical_Roles_beyond_Syntax_Cambridge_University_Press_2020 https://www.amazon.com/Fundamentals-Hebrew-Accents-Divisions-Exegetical/dp/1108479936/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=The_Fundamentals_of_Hebrew_Accents&qid=1584184892&sr=8-1

    The J.D. Price Accent Database

I would like to formally request the addition of the J.D. Price Accent Database for consideration. Title:The J.D. Price Accent Database Publisher: BibleWorks, LLC and James D. Price Reason(s): Because this database tags every accent/cantillation mark in the Hebrew Bible similar to the way other standard database of the Hebrew Bible tag morphology the addition of this database may make it possible for one to display accent/canitllation mark search results in the the Analysis of Search results. Hebrew Accents

Hello All, I am sorry to bother you but I've checked most of the topics in the Original Languages area and cant find anything that's as basic as my request. I have recently returned to school to do a Ph.D. I am not a Biblical student but a crossover between theology and history. However, there is an Amos and Social Justice course that in the Biblical stream that I received permission to take. My classmates and my professor have been wonderful to me, but I have suddenly realized what one of my problems is. I am surprised at what I do remember. However, I have forgotten everything there is to know about accents. I remember the pointing and the verb forms, but those tricky little accents that tell you direction, etc. have totally leaked from my brain. I remember when I took Introduction to Biblical Hebrew (I was less than half my current age) there was a little cardboard piece that explained accents in my Hebrew Bible. I cannot find it anywhere. I also cannot find it anywhere on the Accordance webpage. Can anyone help me please? Thank you. Mairead..
