  1. Is there a setting by which I can ensure that the font size is the same every time I copy text even if I have enlarged the text for viewing purposes. The problem is that I need to export text at 12 pts., but that 12 pts. is too small for me for reading in Accordance.
  2. Hi, I use the Arabic van Dyke bible text module. When I copy a verse and paste it into Mellel, or for that matter, any word/text processor) the verse reference is doubly reversed : chapters and verses are confused, and the tens/ones within each chapter/verse is confused Thus: Genesis 23:18 becomes (once I do copy paste from Arabic) التكوين ٣٢:٨١ لإِبْرَاهِيمَ مُلْكًا لَدَى عُيُونِ بَنِي حِثَّ، بَيْنَ جَمِيعِ ٱلدَّاخِلِينَ بَابَ مَدِينَتِهِ. .And you can see from this that the reference has now become Genesis 81:32 Is there a way to fix this? Thanks Tim
  3. Hi, I just discovered an odd behavior in Accordance, and I'm not certain if it's an intentional thing or a bug. Here's what's going on. Each week I copy the Scripture passage into a Keynote for Sunday, I search for the text in Accordance and then "copy as citation." I recently got a new computer, and have reinstalled Accordance so some settings I'd changed previously were reset to normal, one of these was "hide superscripts" in the Citations settings - it was checked. When I discovered my error I unchecked the setting, restarted the application, and re-opened the text. Copying as citation still wouldn't give me my desired superscripts. Upon further exploration I realized I had changed my default text layout to "Paragraphs with space." I changed it to "Separate with Space" and restarted the program - my superscripts showed up when I copied the passage as a citation! So my question is, "Is this behavior a bug, or is it intentional that text displayed in paragraph form would not copy superscripts?" Thanks a bunch!
  4. When I tap on the scripture hyperlink in the split window in some commentary, popup window comes up with the Bible text. Beneath it I see Copy command. I tap it, expecting that Accordance will copy currently displayed verse in that popup window, instead, it copies commentary text beneath this popup window. I think for hyperlink pop ups this action should refer to the hyperlinked text.
  5. Is there a way to remove the white border on copied image selections from Atlas. When copying and pasting into keynote, I am getting a thin white boarder around the map. The alternative, i.e. screenshot, has no boarder but is more keystroke labor intensive. Is there a setting in preferences whereby I can remove this automatic white boarder?

    Multiple verse selection

Currently using Accordance for iOS 1.7.2, and finding that when I select a verse, the arrows to add further verses to the selection are no longer present, so I can only copy, or highlight, one verse at a time. This is the same whether on a search result or in the text directly. Is this a bug, or am I doing something stupid?
  7. Is there a way to copy and paste a dynamic interlinear view into a word processing application? Accordance allows interlinears to be presented/configured on the screen in multiple different ways, but how do you copy and paste an on screen view (whether a traditional interlinear or other configuration) into a Word, Mellel or other Word processing application? Accordance seems to only allow the source Text to be highlighted and selected for copying, but not the interlinear Tag, Lemma, Gloss, Translation, etc., that you can see on screen. I have been unable to find help specifically addressing this issue anywhere on the Accordance site. If the functionality exists, I am sure there would be plenty of others interested to know and an article or podcast would be useful. If the functionality is not in Accordance, please consider adding this to the next version/update.
  8. Greetings, I just discovered a Greek transliteration pasting problem in Accordance. While setting active tab names I copied and pasted the Greek transliteration of a certain Greek word from the Instant Details window to the active tab, but it did not paste correctly. Instant Details Window: devise G3191 μελετάω meletaō ἐμελέτησαν emeletēsan Verb third plural aorist active indicative to care for, study, practice, think about (Predicate) I copied: meletaō It pasted as: meletaÿ It is pasting a 'y' instead of an 'o'. I also attempted to use the Mac Character Viewer (from System Preferences), but it will not paste or drag and drop into the Accordance active tab field at all. Please help. Thanks.

    #84) Make a Christmas Presentation

Our latest podcast, just in time for Christmas Day! #84) Make a Christmas Presentation 9:33 [basic] Text and images in Accordance can be printed directly, copied and pasted, and dragged and dropped into other programs. In this episode, Dr. J designs a Christmas Keynote presentation for children, highlighting key words in a passage, then using Search All to find relevant photos and illustrations. He also shows how to make a movie of an animated route in the Bible Atlas and import it into a slide. The podcast concludes with the completed slide show.
  10. Today I wanted to copy biblical text with its highlighting to then paste into a PowerPoint slide for a class I am teaching. However, I lose the highlighting in the copy/paste transfer. I have searched the help file and forum but haven't found this specific request. Is there a way to keep the highlighted portions? A workaround I have found, but which I'd like to avoid, is to select the text, print to PDF, and then I could bring in the document to PowerPoint as an image. Thanks for any advice. Mark

    Copy As Root

I love the Copy As... options in Accordance, and I use them almost daily for Lemmas and Citations. I would like to see a Copy As Root option added, at the risk of the contextual menu getting overly busy.
  12. I've been encountering a problem when I select a portion of a verse that excludes the beginning or end of the verse and, from the contextual menu, select Copy As: Citation. When pasted into a document, often a portion (generally the last few letters or word) of the selected text is not copied over. Sometimes, a word or so from the beginning of the verse (a word not selected) will be included in the pasted text. For example, I selected "the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the" from John 1:1. When pasted, I got "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, a". When I copy as citation utilizing the key command (ctrl+command+c) I don't encounter this problem. While I've installed the latest beta (9.5.5), I've been countering this problem for the past several versions; it's not new.
